Meetings are held every second month at a member’s home, where we take over the lounge, the kitchen, and fill the house with sound. (Mainly laughter, but occasional shrieking.)

Meetings include minutes, agenda, and then Bedlam. Each meeting revolves around a particular theme that we've chosen at the previous meeting. We don't like reading set books, because that's boring, so our themes are broad enough to allow everyone to bring a book that fits the description to share with the group.

We like finding out about obscure authors, though we like it better if we can get a copy of the book without mortgaging the house.

We like to find out juicy little details that makes a particular book special and why we should get our filthy little hands on a copy before we die. (Gross exaggeration there, no one's hands are actually filthy. There might be chocolate smears, but it comes off with soap.)

Basically we like a lot of laughs, a lot of book discussion, some food, a lot of laughs, some author discussion, some more food, and drink. We're a friendly bunch of women who like to get together and wonder why others don't do the same.
